At the age of 6 I started to play tennis, at the age of 8 I was accepted into the Liechtenstein Tennis Association (LTV) and since then I have been practicing this sport with great fun and passion. Tennis is a fascinating sport. Again and again, I am impressed by what you can do with a small, yellow felt ball.
I trained a lot, started playing tournaments and at the age of 11 I joined the Schaan sports school. From that point on, tennis became more and more important until I decided, at the age of 15, to put on the professional card. I knew what that meant, training, training and further training. I trained in Liechtenstein at the LTV twice a day, in total I came to about 5 hours a day including conditioning training. After a valuable and groundbreaking 11 years at LTV, I decided on a new path.
From April 2012 to December 2013, I trained at the Tennis Academy Jean-Claude Scherrer in Switzerland. I played all the Grand Slam tournaments of the junior women and gained my first experiences with the big ones. After a few conversations, however, it was clear that I had to change something again. That's why I decided to go to Dornbirn, Austria. I trained there from December 2013 to summer 2017 and was very satisfied with the campus. I was able to have some great experiences and travelled a lot, have seen countries and places that I had only ever dreamed of. From spring 2018 the next change was due, I moved to the TennisBase in Oberhaching/Germany. The coaching team, the base itself and my fellow players, all just men, gave me the necessary polish, which has brought me big steps forward. I feel very comfortable there and work seriously on my tennis career.
My biggest goal is to become number one in the world and win some Grand Slam tournaments. This is my dream, which I try to realize, with a lot of fight, ambition and of course fun. My family stands 100 percent behind me, which gives me a lot of strength. And, when I have just a little free time, I enjoy life at home. I love being in Liechtenstein, exploring the mountains in summer as well as in winter and meeting my family and friends.
